Neopets is Getting an Animated Series — GeekTyrant

When I was a kid in the late 90s/early 00s, I loved the internet sensation Neopets. It was like a Tamagotchi on the internet. You had to care for your pets, but then you could play a bunch of fun games with your pets or even take them into battle. It was such a blast! Well, apparently a new animated series is being created based on the hit internet experience. Beach House Pictures will be in charge of developing the story and characters while their parent company, Blue Ant Studios, will be handling the actual animation.

I’m not going to lie, I know that I won’t be the target demographic, but I do have plenty of fond memories playing the games and taking care of my pets, so I wouldn’t mind possibly seeing if my kid likes it.

There are currently no details about the project released, including where we’ll be able to watch it. What are some of your favorite memories of Neopets? What was your favorite pet? Mine was the Shoyru.
